Common beliefs about sexuality: a Tunisian survey among pregnant women

Introduction Sexual relationship is affected by the emotional factors, changes in women’s body, sexual dysfunctionsand also common beliefs about sex pregnancy. Couples might tend to avoid intercourse pregnancy due different beliefs. Objectives Our objective was evaluation of related and among pregnant womens. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive study. targeted Tunisian women whatever term collected data using self-questionnaire performed with Google Forms posted regularly on social networks over period six months. In order assess most beliefs, we used panel questions inspired literature. Results 34 participated Mean age 31,56 years (SD =3,25). All participants had secondry or university education (5.9% 94.1% respectively). Ninteen (55.9%) were multiparous 44% third trimester. Among participants, 20.6% believe that can be harmful baby, 41.2% number should limited during 17.6% thought stopped first three relation body image, 11.8% approve takes all beauty 8.8% their bodies weren’t attractives as before for spouses. About quarter our population (23.5%) agreed lose desires 14.7% approved satisfies only men. Only one (2.9%) reported considered sin. Conclusions have identified through this study sexuality pregnancy, sometimes aberrant which affect couples.
